foreseechangeThis software, developed by foreseechange pty ltd, models historical weekly sales and price data (at least 104 weeks data is required). Future sales (up to 26 weeks) are forecast based on a user-supplied set of future prices.
This is a common forecasting problem for retailers and vendors. The model employed is a Box-Jenkins Transfer Function model that has been especially developed and tested for this type of data. The model quantifies the price elasticity of sales and differentiates between shelf price and temporary price cut impacts.
A demonstration version and sample forecasts are available for download. The demonstration version allows you to see how the model fits your data but does not do forecasts. The sample forecasts illustrate the forecasting capabilities of the model. Try your current forecasting model on these sample data sets and see if you can beat the foreseechange model.
If you wish to purchase the model, we will send you an invoice and when payment is received the full model will be sent to you. The purchase price is $500 Australian dollars (plus 10% GST if purchased in Australia) which is currently equivalent to $260 US or 180 UK pounds.
Our software will be regularly improved and updated. We welcome feedback and suggestions (www.foreseechange.com).
