If you use sample surveys then Sampling Utility Software (SUS) will enable you to work out the accuracy of survey results - either after the event or at the planning stage.
If you have some survey results and want to know the population confidence interval, or test the statistical significance of differences, then SUS will do that for you.
If you are planning a survey then SUS will help you work out the sample size needed to achieve a specified accuracy.
SUS uses summary measures such as mean, standard deviation, and sample percent. It does not process raw data.
SUS was first developed in 1990 and operates under Windows. It costs $100 Australian dollars - about $US55 or 40 pounds sterling. To order, download, complete and return the order form.
